In the IMpACT cycle, my practice abolishes the boundary between object and document. The final sculpture, its fabrication process, and audiovisual record function as a unified whole, in which the essence of the work lies in conceptual scalar escalation. I abandon the limitations of human physical strength on urban terrain, appropriating a higher level of production within the city’s active infrastructure, while in the natural environment I create a polygon for work.I act as a conductor, directing monumental industrial force through construction machinery and operators to execute precise, technologically mediated pressure. Steel is cold-formed, permanently preserving and materializing raw, monumental energy.
IMpACT
The work unfolds as a dialogue between body and metal — a meeting of the organic and the industrial in a space of direct experience. Cold-forged corten steel installed at ground level in Belgrade, combining durability with structural integrity.
